ABOUT BLUE CYPRESS LAKE & FISH CAMP
Blue Cypress Lake, the largest lake in Indian River County, is a ten square mile naturalist and fisherman's paradise. As the origin of the St. John's River, the lake is abundant with wildlife including bass, (delicious) catfish, alligators, ospreys and of course, majestic cypress trees. The lake is known as a premiere location in Florida for largemouth bass fishing.
Blue Cypress Fish Camp is a small village of waterfront lots and homes on the western side of Blue Cypress Lake. While it feels worlds away, the village is just 20 miles west of the conveniences of Vero Beach, a charming seaside community on Florida's Treasure Coast.
Middleton's Fish Camp, adjacent to the county boat ramp within Blue Cypress Fish Camp, offers a community bait and tackle shop and options for tent or cabin camping by the lake.
